Toss in one performance like this one and they'd have a million seller....Oh, hell, I'm just about sick of explaining what I mean in relation to 2012. Fuck it! If VH put on a show like this, they'd have a hard fucking time keeping up with the DVD sales...

I suspect sales figures may take a jump over the next couple of weeks. The vinyl version of ADKOT started limited shipments yesterday... but retailers are only getting about a third of their pre-sale amounts due to some back up in the pressing factory. Full orders are estimated to be filled around early May. Interscope grossly underestimated the demand for vinyl...

Got my LPs yesterday. They kick ass. The cover is all metallic and embossed and whatnot. So that's 2 from me.

That is what i don't understand. They sold over 10k copies this week but that includes download sales in which the album was on sale for 6.99; It seems that sometimes the figures include download sales and sometimes they don't. At this point, it is anyone's guess how many they have sold.

Sign of the Times....Madonna's album had the biggest 2nd week drop in history.....just the way it is..unless you are the flavor of the month...in which you will be totally irrelevant in two years. Give VH and the VH fans props ...they are still relevant 28 years later!!!!!

Hey psycho, please get out of my Van Halen T-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

Well the first Van Halen album didn't even debut in the Top 20 and it wound up selling ten million copies. So I'm not gonna sweat it, because I'm not some coked-up record executive.

That was a different era dude ...

                      physical sales were still relevant.

Maddonna's cd still sold more in 2 weeks than Van Halen's did in 8. now that is biting yo ass ...

The album is 54 this week now and after ten weeks in this modern era I would say not bad at all.

It must be about 360,000-370,000 in the US. I think it will hang around the Billboard Top 200 for another 8-10 weeks, drop out, re-appear when the Grammys are on next year and eventually reach the 1 million mark as word of mouth spreads that this is truly a vintage Van Halen album.

I certainly don't doubt that the disc will reach "GOLD", (I know It will), but "Platinum" could be a stretch.

Unless there is sudden interest in Van Halen within the younger demographic, I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

                              I hope I am wrong ...
