I'll tell you what this CD did for me... convinced me to buy tickets to a show.
I passed on the last tour due to a lot of shit that was going on in my life at the time.
When they released the tour dates, I figured I'd skip this one as well because none of the dates worked for me... but after spending only a few days listening to the CD, it was just too fucking good to not go see the band live.

Really - who fuckin cares? To put it into perspective, VH I peaked at #19. Regardless of where ADKOT charts, it's a kick-ass album.
That's all that matters to me.

Van Halen hasnt sold 187,000 copies people.... look a little beyond you're elbow, that number is what stores have committed to buying and are hoping to sell. I bet there's less than 100,000 that are in people's CD players. VH's demographic is not gonna compare much less compete with Adele. Be happy as a fan that they are touring with a new album. I find it hard to believe all those old fart fans who bought 1984 are not running out and buying the first VH album with DLR in 28 years.

Especially after hearing Tattoo all over the radio and all the internet buzz.

VH needs to release Blood & Fire or You and Your Blues to radio soon to create more VH buzz.
