I think it is clearly the download age and the ease of getting music for free that is hurting the sales the most. It took Van Halen III 5 months to go gold. This album is just about half way there in 2 weeks. You would think that if 500,000 people were willing to pay for VH III (God help them), there would be at least 1 million that would readily buy this immediately given that Dave is back.
