      The variac confusion.

I'm still not sure if his Marshall was really stock.

This amount of gain only with the variac thing, lowering the voltage?

      No boost pedal?

By all accounts (and pictures of his early pedal set up), he didn't use any sort of boost (the Phase 90 gives a tiny one). And supposedly "the Grail" is indeed bone stock circuit-wise.

I'm digging how much he emphasizes all of his fighting with Dave is/was never personal. Always music. And then you see Sammy getting extremely personal. Big difference.

That's because Sammy's a bitter, pathetic, miserable bitch.

I wonder why Dave would need to be convinced that a double CD might be worth doing. Ed was a little too polite to the Hagar era songs (kids). I hope they're on a permenant vacation!

After the book Hagar released. I thought Ed will never again make music with Hagar.

                  I wouldn't.

I don't think the 'hand thing' was a complete lie or a cover up. I know Iommi referenced Ed's hand issues in his book and how Ed was able to point Iommi in the right direction for treatment of a similar hand issue.

the hand issue was there...he had surgery going on in Düsseldorf/Germany...that's almost like Tunafish/ Alabama and you only go there as Eddie van Halen if you need to see not "a" but "the" specialist for such a thing...but the main problem seemed to be the drinking problem...remember when wolfie threw his bass onstage in anger over his loaded dad?

That was very cool! Cuntfirmed a lot of things that we knew, that weren't out there. Like going to rehab, being drunk in 07-08, and spending a year on the couch before all of that!!!
