Yeah.... I've known a half dozen or so people with cancer over the last decade or so. Only one of them is still alive. I haven't researched the official numbers, but from where I'm sitting it just seems like the shit is killing more people all the timeEat Us And Smile

EVH: Oh, I hadn't thought about that. That's some great music. They're just on vacation, maybe. They're off to college and they're going their own way. Who knows?Trolls take heed...LOG OUT & FUCK OFF!!!

Yeah that sucked reading that shit. You would hope it was behind him. But I got the impression he is somewhat fine with living with it. If that's possible. He seemed more concerned about putting the drinking in the past. I gave up on reading Ed's interviews years ago because he would say one thing then do another !! I wish him well as we all do of course. Its amazing what we speculate about with whats going on when the band is not active, and to here the truth like that of what he was going through the last few years and more. Great read. I hope we get one more great album from them.Comment

And he was cancer-free until last year, when he got hit twice. I haven't talked about this, because I don't talk about this. Last spring, doctors found cancer cells in his throat and took a scalpel to them. Last fall, the cancer came back and they took another chunk of his tongue. Every few months, he opens his mouth and doctors poke at him.
That's either kind of bad news ---- or REALLY bad news.
If they keep cutting out chunks of his tongue or throat ---- Ed is eventually going to lose the ability to speak or sing. If the cancer spreads to the rest of his body --- that's a death sentence.
We'd better appreciate this 2012 tour more than ever ---- looks like the days of the Mighty Halen are numbered.Comment
