He should have just shortened his name to Kant. My favorite Jeffereson Airplane moment was when Marty Balin got knocked out by a pool cue in Gimmie Shelter."Don't want 'em to get you goat, don't show 'em where it's hid." - David Lee RothComment

Can't argue with that... the "other half" crap was a dumbass move. Don't think that qualifies him for some of the hate getting shot his way...Last edited by ZahZoo; 04-24-2012, 02:11 PM."If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment

For me he has pretty good taste in cars, I love Mustangs, Shelbys, Ford GTs and Ferraris. Love the '79 512BB. I'm unsure about the wheels he put on the Shelby at the end though. He and his wife seem like pretty normal, down to earth folks you'd meet at a car show somewhere."Don't want 'em to get you goat, don't show 'em where it's hid." - David Lee RothComment

Served him right. He weighed what, 115 pounds soaking wet, but he throws a tambourine at a Hell's Angel, then dives into the audience to confront the guy? Yeah, that's some clear thinking on display. I wish they would have clubbed that nitwit Kantner as well: "Hey, man, I'd like to mention that the Hells Angels just, uh, smashed Marty Balin in the face and knocked him out for a bit. I'd like to thank you for that."

It's also well known he didnt attend the funeral of Eugenia Van Halen or even bothered to send condolences to Ed and Alex. Very unclassy move.
That was pretty much the final nail in the coffin (no pun intended) for any chance of Saucey Sobolewski getting back in VH.Comment

When i read that i always thought that was the end of any "relationship" between them .... someone is going to forget thatfuck your fucking framingComment

Sure that wasn't just a well known rumor? I'd really need to see an interview with Ed or Al mentioning it to come remotely close to buying that story.Comment

Then what was Dave's tour with Sir Spam'a'lot?Comment

It just was not in the cards to have Mike back. We all know there would have not ever been a VH now if it was not for Wolf so having a Mike VH would have never been no mater what Mikes actions were. ...However, I do see Wolf setting up a full reunion years down the way for the fans. IMO ...Wolf will want to do his own thing at some point and sugest having Mike back now that VH is a healthy working band. ...I suspect it would happen on a final tour many years from now. ...I really don't care, I am happy with things the way they are now, my self.Comment
