Well they do have a kid named Wolfgang. Perhaps raising him took up alot of her time and they had the funds for her not to work like crazy. Perhaps she did not want the limelight so to speak. I know having a job/work, business, family and child is alot of work. Hell being a mom or dad is a full time job most of the time anyway.

It's a full time job. My wife put her career on hold and stayed home full time to raise the kids. It really is the best situation for the kids. I think more and more people are seeing it that way now. Sure you have to give up some extra income but day care isn't cheap and trying to hold down a job and be mom is stressful and something has to give. You can always have a career later. My sister got her master's degree and then became a stay home mom. She went back to work after the kids were grown.

Actually you pay. It's called taxes. The government is just the middleman in the transactions. I don't know about Sweden but when I was in Norway I had to see a dentist. I asked how much did I need to pay and the receptionist said you are covered. I said I'm not a citizen of Norway and she said you are covered anyways. I said I can pay but she refused to take my money. I did pay some value added tax while in the country so I guess that counts.

Could have had everything to do with EVH getting caught banging Sterling Ball's wife back then. Once that affair came to light, the whole dynamics of their partnership changed.

The interview was with Sterling and he never mentioned Ed banging his wife. He said that they did everything Ed wanted and then all a sudden Ed out of the blue went with Peavey. Hartley Peavey said he was trying to get Ed interested in Peavey making a guitar for him and Ed said they were too late because he just made a deal with Musicman but he would be interested in developing an amp. Then Ed went with Peavey saying people were complaining that they couldn't get the Musicman guitars because their production was too low. Nobody has flat out slagged Ed. I mean he was a boom to Musicman and Peavey and both companies still make the guitars and amps but call them something else. Sterling and Hartley both made a lot of money with Ed but they both seemed kind of puzzled when they talk about the guy.

The big mistake we made in this country is we let the banks and politicians buy us off with cheap trinkets and we went off and got drunk and didn't watch the store. You really have to watch those rascal politicians and bankers; especially, during the good times.

One problem in a big diverse country like this one is there is no shortage of social differences to divide the public on and then they get us fighting over a bunch of trivial shit and keep us distracted that way while they rob us some more.

We get one year of parental leave here. Can be taken by Mom or Dad, and that goes for adoptions too.

When I had my son almost 30 years ago, I got 6 weeks.

When my boss got a kid, she told me that if she and her husband devide the parental leave equally they get an "equality bonus" from the goverment. Thats a great initiative.

Exactly. Things were far deeper and more personal for the actual parties involved. As a fan, I'll trust Dave's judgement, take his word and be happy.
