It wouldn't surprise me if kinder comments were made but in typical writer fashion they delete those and leave in the comments that will be misconstrued or create the most drama. It seems a rarity to see a positive article written about Van Halen that doesn't mention past singers, Wolfie replacing "long-time favorite Anthony" or some mixed comments about Roth. I think media wouldn't care unless they could paint the picture of volatility.

Roth is the integral piece to Van Halen. Regardless of some of the flak for some performances on his tour, he still brought it every night. Period. Besides, I have seen many vids from the 07/08 tour where Ed was just hanging on Roth carried the weight.

So he said he can only take Dave in small doses. I have some great friends that I can only take in small doses. Doesn't make me love them any less.

An apologist is somebody who defends someone without objectively looking at the facts and forming a rational conclusion. In that sense --- you are an EVH and Wolfie apologist who defends everything they say. Open your mind.

Eddie VH has a LONG track record of saying offensive remarks about Dave --- and I don't think the passage of time or a better working relationship with Dave in 2012 should allow us to forgive or forget. He's a crummy human being.

It all boils down to one phrase --- RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLE. Some people are just born with it (like David Lee) and some people never learn what it means no matter how old they get. Spamborita certainly never learned how to respect people despite becoming very wealthy and famous. He's still the uneducated asshole kid of a homeless drunk from Fontana, CA. His mind never progressed beyond a vindictive teenage bitch who's jealous if she's not the center of attention.

Eddie and Alex's basic mental malfunction is they take 100% of the credit for all the accomplishments of Van Halen the band. They've occasionally said some nice things about Dave in the past --- but they honestly believe they would've been mega-successful without him. All you have to do is look at their past statements for proof --- "We only hired Dave because he owned his PA system" or "We had a toothache (Dave) but we got it extracted and now we got a crown with a gold cap (Sam)" or "We used to have a Volkswagen but now we have a Porsche (Sam)" or "Dave got Lead Singer Disease". You see what I mean? The greatest rock frontman America has ever produced is only perceived as a "disease" or 3rd-rate car by the twins. I find that unacceptable and disgusting.

So when Eddie casually says "I wish me and Valerie had another kid so he could be the singer" --- it's just another chapter in the VH Family Guide for Disrespecting Your Colleagues. A lot of you seem to like that book. I don't.

One tiny morsel of a compliment doesn't wipe away 30 years of disrespecting Dave. If that's the case --- will you easily forgive me if I come beat up your kids, molest your wife, burn down your house and steal your car ---- but then top it off with "I'll be back on Monday to mow your lawn and take out the trash" ??

Besides, looking at pictures of where Dave took a shit, is extremely informative.

I gotta agree on this fuckin point....in all of the 2012 interviews Dave has done, he has been respectful to "The Three Twins" 150%. Not ONE fuckin off the cuff remark. Eddie has had some slips that no doubt have been ugly. Now...I fucking wonder if Dave did an interview tomorrow..and got fuckin catty, threw a few genius jabs in there (man I kinda miss those Eddie Van Heineken quotes)...you think those Van Halen's would let it roll off their backs like Dave has with Eddie's comments????

Get EVH and WVH into a corner and all they can say is --- "He's a witty Energizer Bunny" and "Me and Val shoulda popped out another kid to replace Dave as the singer". What a couple of swell guys.

I haven't been wrong about anything --- EVH is an uneducated egomaniac who takes 100% credit for everything the band Van Halen accomplished --- and David Lee Roth is the exact opposite of Ed.
