            Always interesting when VH down-time is in the house... I think the on-line fan base has lost it's edge. Used to be if there was a hint of something going on the the blood hounds would be turning up every crumb that could be sniffed. The speculators would be churning spin like an old Maytag on steroids...

            What has happened here..? Japan tour may be coming off the tracks...

            We gots 4 threads of retreads living like it's 1983 on the nostalgia treadmill...

                hey...we are exhausted in VH land...we got so used to expect some drama happening around that band that we only wake up again if one of the members dies...I am so tired of speculating or interpretating anything coming from that band...they play? fine...they don't? well it's Van Halen...

                we got two tours and a fantastic album! yes...I still think it's an outstanding piece of music. whatever they do...it's icing on the cake...I take it as it comes!

                    All good points... but for some of us who were counting on the 2nd leg to see the band this go round... we ain't ready to lay down and take a 4 year nap!!
