That Japan clip really appears Dave's shootin off his mouth in the old way that got him in trouble with the VH Brothers. The suit is lame... but maybe Dave's found some new rebirth of relevance over there that he seems to be losing his grasp on back home...

I don't know... Dave really played up the "conflict" crap in those 3 back to back pod-casts as a center piece when talking Van Halen. He was pulling that crap also in the Japanese clip. Granted Dave repeats himself ad nausium sometimes forgetting that we're no longer in the age of touring and recycling sound-bites at each stop... thinking the next audience hasn't heard it all before. Those days are long gone...
