The blower rants were real too, I suppose...

I think they were real. Dave knew his voice was shitty that tour and had to blame it on something. He got savaged on You Tube for this tour. His voice, overall look & dance floor. Kind of brings it on himself sometimes. I liked the 07/08 Dave. He was still his old self for the most part except maybe the short hair, and sang really good. Hope he is better down under and Japan.

Oh please. All you did was rip Dave about the way he sounded after the MN. review I posted. Dave isn't stupid. He had problems the whole tour. And used the blower rant to say it was screwing up all their voices. It's on more than one You Tube clip. Hey brilliant idea in my book, then he doesn't have to worry about quitting smoking. Me ? I really don't care to much, except it will keep them from releasing a live album.

WTF's your problem? All I did was ask a question. I've never seen Dave talk about his voice anywhere in recent years. So I was asking.

He talked about it when discussing how he sings Love Train to get his voice in shape. The problem is that song is a higher register than VH songs and maybe thats why he sand this last our higher than he should have? Like when you leave an image on your screen you get image burn. Maybe vocal chords kinda do the same thing?

I recommend he sing Unchained 50 times to get his pipes juiced up instead.
