But being practical, 4 is tops...people at the venue weren't as excited to hear the new tunes. They should be ashamed of themselves, but that is another conversation...

They should abandon Tatoo of course and even Trouble with never. It has some cool mements, but there are so many better tunes to play

Show of hands. How many of you sang As Is word for word as you watched this?

                I did.

*pshaw! If Dave decides to sing it? Eddie...bro...I'll do it, I'll do it! At least for the soundcheck part. Come on man, lemme do it!

Dave needs to try these tunes for a few shows to see how they go. I bugs me he doesn't at least show up for the sound check. It's your band. BE THERE ! Wonder if he even knows they run through these tunes ?

A lot of singers don't go to soundcheck. A friend of mine does sound, it pisses him right off.

I used to run sound for local bands and it drove me nuts. Hell sit back stage and sing along or something. See if can get a feel for wanting to try them. Wasn't it the Hang Em High he was reading off the stage in New York ? I don't know. I get that his voice isn't up to par but give them a shot for the fans.

I found that more gutsy than bad. Like they tossed it at him and he said fuck it, I'll give it a go. Fucking odd tune he hasn't sang in 30 years. Seen Dave a lot throughout the year and never heard him sing it. I'll take him reading the lyrics as he goes any time.

Well I already recognized that today's radio isn't going to promote the new VH material into being hits within the public conscientiousness... So of course in the tour aspect a lot of people don't have that stuff imprinted with historical memory references and thus won't fire up the average fans... errr I mean the barbarian horde...

If the band is afraid to plow forward live... then at least cycle the ADKOT material in various spots.

Hell I don't know what the band is afraid of... once the tickets are sold and butts in seats... they could throw curves every show. Given the ADD/ADHD mentality of music fans today... this might actually be a winning approach...
