I have never been a Kiss fan. It's really hard to see VH and Kiss mix together.

KISS at their finest...

I never understood the appeal of KISS. I also never understood the connection that people had between Van Halen and KISS.

One band displays incredible ability and songwriting, the other has neither.

I suppose you could make the arguement that KISS understood and pioneered some live performance innovations, but underneath there are some pretty bad songs.
