So I look up Nic Derisions web page.

This is all he does, he did it to Pink Floyd, The Stones, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and so on and so forth. It is the same whiny spiel about the high heeled shoes that came with his new barbie doll not being up there with his favourite high heels from Mattel. Right.

He doesn't do any other tricks.

I don't know about all this... the 5 albums that followed 1984 pretty much qualify as a crap fest for the most part. There's a few gems as far as Ed's guitar work goes but the vocals and lyrical cuntent sucks donkey dicks... and takes away from the musical compositions like spoiled milk in a good bowl of cereal...

Of the 6 pack era... The chorus and back-up vocals of Loss of Control makes my skin crawl like fingernails on a chalk-board. Also something about Tora, Tora, Tora that makes me hit fast forward... other than that nothing else belongs on a shit list.

Well, I'll focus strictly on songs with Roth at the helm (seems more than a bit redundant to even bother listing Van Hagar songs that sucked)...and I don't really think of these songs as sucking so much as songs I rarely to never play and, in some cases, will even switch radio stations if these songs are being played.

1. Where Have All The Good Times Gone?
One of the few times Van Halen did a cover and their 'Van Halenization' fell a bit short. Underwhelming.

2. I'll Wait
The song is just a lumbering downer, with a throwaway guitar solo, melancholy synths and a vocal approach from Roth that is as meek as the simpering nature of the lyrics.

3. Dancing In The Streets
Worked much better live than on record.


Hey, considering most bands can't even put out ONE album that is excellent from start-to-finish, Van Halen overall are spectacular...a few duds ain't bad...plus, I actually like Big Bad Bill.
