I can't remember the last time I read along to lyrics to a song by any recording artist, or tried to decipher (or even cared) what was being said. Point is, you'd be more inclined to call Dave's effort on ADKOT impressive than dull, no? Hell, I'm still quoting phrases from various songs all this time later. To me that's a sign of a well written album. Obviously this is a case of someone stirring shit, but lambasting Roth's effort as Hagaresque is worth voicing an opinion and facing the flames. Happy New Year holy shit where's the Tylenol?

No... it's not enough. Keep those 4 and add at least 3 more. Take nothing out of the set-list and it's a total net add of 15 minutes tops to the show length. No big deal.
Stay Frosty screams live performance all over it. Either add it to the Ice Cream Man spot or better yet... make it the 2nd Encore song to send everybody home in the right frame of mind!!!
Dave needs to go back and work with the vocal coach he used to prepare for Strummin With the Devil. That influence was clearly with him on the 07/08 tour when he actually "sang" all the songs rather than scream them.
Dave also needs to get better in-ear monitors or a better monitor mix. They have so much headroom in their sound system there is no fucking logical reason he needs to work that hard to project his voice live with a regular mic or headset mic. The way he approached it in 2012 totally killed his voice and his performance... it's no fucking wonder the blower rants occurred. Dave was already 90% over revving his vocal motor so any irritant just compounded it more.
The jackass that did the final master on ADKOT needs to be shot or publicly ass-fucked and humiliated... He ruined a monumental record. Take the original recordings back into a studio... hire an engineer, like Eddie Kramer, who can master a recording to 70's/80's analog standards with real air in the mix and no gawd-damned ear fucking compression added. He was spot on during that Strumming record and sang really well. Not for Dave but for anyone he sang well period.
The tour support team was awful and underprepared, it was amatuer hour and completely right about too much headroom. Also why the hell was no one assigned to keep the blowers off after it was an issue for the first time. Just silly stuff, for example much of their merchandise arrived late etc... they were just not ready to go primetime with that crew.Comment

This is exactly what I was referring to in an earlier post. Almost seemed like he couldn't hear himself properly or felt he wasn't being "heard" properly over the music and/or background vocals. Whatever the reason, you're right- Dave shouldn't have needed to work so hard to get the vocals across.Comment

Sambo creates that creepy "vagina fingers" hand symbol and then licks it onstage --- supposedly like he's simulating cunnilingus --- but on his own hands !! You can actually see the slobber dripping down his wrists because he's enjoying it so much.
That's the kind of creepy that deserves a hospital psych admission. Perhaps a bullet to the head.
