I was just looking at these very desirable objects on the EVH website - are they the exact same shape as a Strat? I don't have a Strat to hand ... but this looks kinda different. Almost like it has a blend of Strat and the curve of a Fender Bass (very slightly)?

Or maybe I have already had too many beers ...

I started early - it's been one of those weeks. I don't want to derail this fine thread, but I am drinking my first bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale in 20 years. No doubt due to Vandeleur's avatar / subliminal advert for his hometime brew. Is going down nicely and tastes great. I kinda wish I worked in a 5 O'Clock clocking off job, instead of what I do, which just eats into my personal time.

Funny, I'm on the opposite side of that... I'm not really a fan of the Wolfgang body shape, or headstock, and that "Stealth" model is the first one I've liked...

I like the stealth flat finish with stripes that Wolf has going on with his basses. I guess it would be a bit much if they were both up there with the same dang paint jobs.

I like the tobacco burst in Ed's Wolfgang guitars. I think he switched to one like that in the soundcheck video for As Is that is floatin' around. I'm assuming that particular guitar is furnished with the Drop To Hell feature. That tune is pretty loooowww.

Yeah, but the whole draw of that was EVH did them with his very own hands at his house. He created them. Not oversaw a guy who then went to the factory to watch over design & approve it. But really sat there all fucked up on his patio tweaking out with the tape rolls.
