REPORT: =vh = to headline australian festival april 20-21

8pm local time Saturday night in Sydney is 6am ET Saturday morning.....

The website lists VH at 9:10pm, so that would be 7:10am ET. Aerosmith scheduled for 6:55pm (4:55am ET).

If anyone goes, I'd be interested to hear if either Aerosmith or VH mention the other band. They didn't exactly get along back in the 70's and I'm sure Tyler's not thrilled to be opening. I think, for the obligatory story-time section, Dave should tell the one about the tank prank that didn't pan out. (Hopefully, before he starts Stay Frosty - should replace ICM with that, IMO).

None of that tour or this last one have been open air right...all were basketball court arena sized shows, right ?

This has got to be the first time Aerosmith has EVER gone on before anyone.

Co-headlining or not, they usually always close the show. Maybe Woodstock '94, I dont remember. It is quite the switch-a-roo for those bad boys from Beantown, since the stadium days of '78. Heh, heh.

Exactly what I am talking about,.... 29 years I bet they will sound awesome..I kinda hate the tinny sound of closed arenas.

This stadium is open only at the top over the playing field as you know but the stars will be out and the sound will carry better.

My ideal show would be a Woostock kind of open air ampitheater..like a small Italian ancient Roman ampitheater..no sides just a stage facing a hillside.

I guess the Hollywood Bowl is like that...the sound there would be best ever.
