I keep in touch with Brownie, we were texting like schoolgirls today about the new tune. Wait, does that sound gay as fuck? I digress.

My take on E.U.A.S. is that it was born of a response to the Red Hoards on the Internet way back when, when Classic Van Halen was surrounded on all sides and being assailed by douchebaggery from all points in between.

E.U.A.S. is the Delta Force that fought the good fight and never gave up and never surrendered. It isn't a club or association. It's a hit squad.

Thus, E.U.A.S. is like the undefeated Dolphins, and we should crack champagne every year on Feb 7th. And much like a championship team, you can't be a part of it unless you were on the roster at game time. When we're all dead, E.U.A.S. will be no more, but the memory of the ideals and deeds will live forever.

Or, like a fraternity we charge people $200 a semester to join. And have car washes. And socials.

Well said icon. Btw, i spoke with Loons and now I feel better about life. Still waiting on Brownie. Not only is it like the 72 Dolphins, i just go back to the conversations we had, speculating, trying to guess what the new album would be like. New blood is nice since most of don't want to post novels anymore, but the heart, soul, and spirit of the EUAS smile group is with the originals. If people want t be a part of something, then they should start something new.

After all, EUAS was born of something else... Good God ya'll...

Between the shitty hosting providers that the DLR Army and VH Links relied on in the past, YEARS of compositions and conflagrations composed and instigated by myself and Pojo and FORD et al have gone "Down In Flames" years ago. Some of E.U.A.S.'s best material from HOP, RBW, Hain, Redfire, Vinnie, BEM, Brownie, the list goes on... were lost to database corruption and crashes and fucked up backups. It used to be a badge of honor to get to 1,000, yes ONE THOUSAND posts, because each post was a missive, they were philosophical treatises on the good v. evil, CVH v. VHagar, universal struggle. Now, it's enough for people to post emoticons and one liners.

Then there came a day when I hung up my philosopher's hat and donned a jester's cap. I found it easier to deal with the minions as jokester v. provocateur v. philosopher v. statesman. At least on the surface. And hence, I launched the fabled Eat Britney And Smile (E.B.A.S.) and it was good. Non-stop Britney photography and paparazzimages. Now it is as good a time as ever to see Katy Perry take over and for HOP to maintain custody of its charter, content, and quality. I think E.K.A.S. a fair and worthy successor.

HOP, I think E.K.A.S. should probably reside in our pictorial forum along with The Muff Thread, The Doctor's T&A Thread, et al rather than in Fan Intro or Non-VH or wherever it was I saw your initial posts. I'll have VA move it or maybe I will if I can overcome my current bout of the lazies.

Well said, 1000 posts meant something because of the quality of the posts. I cannot begin to count the amount of times we dissected each, song by song on it's lyrics and music. When one post consists of Diver Down: a song by song critique consists of over 10,000 characters used, it puts to shame BS like "?" or "no news is good news." That shit use to piss me off. It's one thing to have a cleverly placed one liner versus making it your mission to have a high post count with Machiavellian tactics.
