I'm PISSED
Okay, so first thing when I walk into work in the morning, this chick (a Roth fan) hands me the "Best of both worlds" compilation and says "This thing is awesome!". I'm like....you gave money to that Sammy idiot? She says...yeah, but the Roth songs are awesome.
Anyway, to make a long story short, I took the CD to my desk, started hearing. Sure, the Roth songs kick ass and the Spam songs are probably his better ones, but they are no match to the classic stuff.
What really PISSED ME OFF?!
Well...all the art work. all the photos and no Dave. How far will the brothers go to erase any evidence of Dave. Obviously Dave is interested in this stuff cause he was for the BOVI. No picture, no mention other than credits on vocals & writing on the old ones. No picture....no nothing. I'm PISSED! The sisters once again do what ever they can to erase the momory of one of the greatest rock & roll bands ever. WHY? Folks, it doesn't matter how much yoga you take, how much counceling, AA or even alcohol...when you have a root of anger, hatred and revenge in your heart, it will play out like a cancer that will ultimately kill you.
I'ts horrible. How much anger can the sisters really have against Dave? Enough to erase even the good memories? Even the high points? If somone needs Jesus it's the VH brothers. Learn to forgive guys. You don't have to get Dave back, but geez, bury the hatchet man. I'm glad the sisters aren't world leaders. Otherwise, the red button would have been pressed decades ago.
Middle aged men fighting like little girls. No forgiveness, no room for pardoning. I hope you guys learn from this and understand that a root of hatred can go a long way and it can steal from us, the opportunity to listen to great music. How pathetic. So if you have an uncle, aunt, ex-girlfriend you're still pissed at after so many years, make sure you make up. And dont' do it the VH way ignoring everything that happened.....apologize!
