Where will Eddie Van Halen be in the next 5 years?

I think Eddie will release his first official solo album in the next 5 years with different vocalists on different tracks(hopefully Robert Plant) along with his first solo tour with his brother Alex on drums but a different bassist & different frontman & without the VH moniker.

I don't see Mikey out of the picture. Eddie is gonna see the light, and kiss Dave's ass so he will return to the fold, and those guys are gonna kick some major ass. For one , if we are lucky, two albums. Then, when they have reached peak popularity, they will start releasing vault material and do maybe 6-12 major shows per year.

Agreed. Once this sham of a tour is over, I think Van Halen (Ed in specific) is going back into hiding. Hopefully, hopefully now, something will click and David can get back in to end this merry go round ride in the best way possible.

Five years from now...Van Halen will be a fading memory and a nice little footnote in the history of rock music.

I disagree that Mikey is in it for the money. I think Michael Anthony is a neat guy. Does he go with the flow... without a doubt; but some people are lovers, some people are fighters. The fight was not between Michael and David. Why should he have put his career down the drains because of irreconcilable differences?
