I started a polite thread to the webmasters expressing my opinion about the contents of the threads on the main forum. Too bad, if I offended anyone.

You see, I thought the Roth Army was a forum for fans to talk about CVH and DLR. I did not realise it was some sort of paramilitary outfit of red-necks with the minds and manners of six year olds.
I like Cathedral’s “real” army analogy though. Shame he seems to compare the Roth Army to the proud soldiers serving in Abu Ghraib prison.

As to DLR7884 who has been kind enough to point out that he is not a baby sitter for delicate persons such as myself.
I thought the job of a moderator was exactly what the word implies i.e. to moderate a forum and to make sure that threads that do not concern the topic of the forum are moved somewhere else. You seem to be doing a lousy job.

Hey, if it makes people happy to dig into the sewage system of their vocabulary and fling shit at others, all the more power to them. Simple minds, simple pleasures.
If the webmasters and moderators think the main forum is the right place for “your momma has aids” comments or what have you, then it is their good right. If however you want to make these forums welcoming and appealing for fans who just want to talk about CVH and DLR then I find it a strange approach.

This site reflects the true American spirit in the sense that the founders were basically kicked out of every decent G rated site on the net.
