I know it's a SAD SAD SAD SAD SAD day in NY, but don't try to minimize the situation.

Imagine the horror in NY if we DO win. The WS win is something I hope we win (not trying to think ahead too much, there is too much history) and I admit our track record isn't good. However, we are erasing so much already, that anything is possible.

alright, my hat is off to the red sox! They did something that has never been done before, ever!! Even though I cant stand them and I will root against them no matter its Houston or St. Loius( hoping for Astros), if they continue to play and hit like they are they deserve to win.

Are you serious? I'd say it's you that is looking for a way to try and minimize the situation if the Boston can't finish the job.

Horror? Maybe for some, but not me. Unlike you, I care more about my team winning than I do my rival losing. That seems to be the mindset of Red Sox fans, as you are showing a perfect example of. I won't feel any different if the Red Sox win the WS than I will if the Cardinals win. The fact is, my team won't be winning this year. After that, it means nothing to me on what the Red Sox or any other team do.

But hey, at least you beat the Yankees, right?

ps, Ive NEVER chanted 'Yankees Suck...." because I know that 26 World Series Chanpionships means that you dont suck. And I think that Derek Jeter is one of the greatest 'gamers' of all time (but he really needs to stop jumping out of the dugout every time the Yanks hit a home-run...)

Perhaps now that the Red Sox have won the big one, our teams and cities can respect each other and be more civil...

probably not, was dreaming about the look on A-Rod's face when we were victorious tonight....but I do hope we can.

I hope the sisters (jeter and A-Rod) can pull it together next season for the next chapter. Never a dull moment..

Yanks-Mets tickets went fast.....

I placed my order at 10:01, after about 15-20 min it came up with Bleacher seats. It ain't the old days of $3 bleacher seats and getting plastered, so I didn't get them. I guess buying on the web just isn't a good option.
