I had been looking forward to the fight this past Saturday night but it turned out to be a major let down. Bute stunk it up and didn't put up much of a fight.

Bute was incredibly gun-shy. I thought that Pascall fought well - not sure he can beat the other champs at 175, but it'll be interesting watching him try :D

Victor Ortiz got KO'd by Luis Collazo last Saturday. Collazo has been a really good fighter for a long time - hopefully this will allow him to get some big fights now, which makes 147 a whole lot more interesting.

Bute's ascending career has ended with Froch...Bute has demonstrated he doesn't have the killer instinct...maybe another coach would do him some good but what do I know...I'm with you Binnie with Pascal not being at par with the others at 175...

I think Bute is done. His confidence has been shattered by how easily Froch destroyed him.

I don't think he's big enough to worry the guys at 175, and if he's not going to engage in fights it's a sign that his will has gone. He had a good run, but in truth he was probably lucky that he didn't run into Kessler or Abraham at 168 earlier in his career because I think he'd have been roundly beaten.

And how quickly did Victor Ortiz' career unravel? The guy can't get through the ropes without knocking himself out.

I think what we saw there was just how good Collazo is - cos he's a lefty, he's been unlucky in getting breaks over the years. Maybe now he'll get some bigger fights.

Curious to know what people make of Mayweather tweeting a poll about who his next opponent should be (Khan or Maidanna)?

Khan won the Twitter poll, so it looks like it'll be Mayweather-Khan on May 3rd.

First big fight of this year: Sergio Martinez - Miguel Cotto.

This one has the potential to be very, very interesting.........................

Bin have you seen anything of Deontay Wilder ?? Guys were watching a you tube of his knock outs , he certainly can punch.

Things I like about Deontay Wilder:

a) He can punch
b) He's a heavyweight contender who's in shape (most heavies now are flabby and poorly conditioned).

The problem, as I see it, is that he's been matched against fairly light competition. Now they're looking at rushing him into a title shot, and I think that's bad news. You need to be fighting lots of solid guys first.

Yeah the clips i watched there wasn't much boxing or evidence he could take a hit but damn he was explosive
