I think the wwe should bring back Brock Lesner,he was a dam good wrestler,but he was a complete ass backstage.he let the fact he had been champ go to his head and thought he was bigger than the company.they should bring him back and make him pay his dues for the snorefest he had with goldberg by having him in a feud with the Undretaker were by Taker kicks his ass

I miss Gill Berg, I used to think that was so funny, how the WWe used to make fun of Goldburg...The sad thing is though, was Gillberg wass a 10x better wrestler than goldburg. Gillberg was an awesome jobber, who never ruined others careers with botched up moves, or acted like a drama queen after getting put over so much.

I would like to see him make a return, to Smackdown's much needed to be improved crusierweight division.

RVD ready to rock at One Night Stand


At ECW One Night Stand, Rob Van Dam will be given the chance to do something he hasn't been allowed to do since signing with WWE in 2001 -- He will pick up a microphone and talk.

"I never get mic time to showcase myself," Van Dam told the Calgary Sun this week. "WWE fans don't know RVD can talk because, even when I am on the mic, I get two ridiculous lines to read. I get to say 'that's cool' or something."

But at the ECW event, which goes out on pay-per-view tomorrow night, the man they call Mr. Monday Night will have no script to follow, no censors to deal with, and no qualms about telling it like it is.

"It's my chance to tell the fans I hear what they're saying," Van Dam said. "I hear them saying 'RVD, WWE is holding you back', 'RVD, they're not letting you do your s---', or 'RVD, what do you think about Shane McMahon stealing your move?'. I'm going to tell them, yo, I hear you. It's going to be a heart to heart out there."

One thing that's clear from talking to Van Dam is his genuine desire to connect with his followers.

"I count on my fan base to support me," he said. "If I could just do an autograph session with a big line of fans every day, I wouldn't even care if I wrestled again. The fans realise the conditions that are put upon me, and still appreciate what I'm able to produce within those guidelines. I trust them more than I trust a pencil pusher that thinks it's a good idea to have an invasion at the ECW pay-per-view."

Pencil pusher? It's not the term most WWE wrestlers would use to describe company management -- at least not in a WWE-sanctioned interview with a WWE media rep sitting a few feet away -- but this is vintage Van Dam. He's blunt, brutally honest and raw in a way WWE's Monday night franchise could never hope to be.

"I'm a genuine guy and that's something that's always earned me my fan base," Van Dam said. "My nature is to be straight and to say these things that other wrestlers won't. With the amount of controversy that I get credit for on my interviews, it's amazing that no one in WWE comes to me with reports from it. Although I don't think they even listen, or else they would know that I can talk and would give me a microphone more often."

Despite his strong opinions on the booking of his character, Van Dam chooses to stay out of the political wrangling behind the scenes in WWE.

"I'm not someone that's going behind that closed door in the office, pitching ideas on how to cut other people's throats and how to stomp their careers down so I can get ahead. When it comes to whether a guy with these initials (HHH) is really holding me back, I hear the fans, but I stay away from that."

However, when RVD returns to action in August -- he's currently recuperating from major knee surgery -- the question is whether WWE management will finally give him the main event spot he deserves.

"I wouldn't mind having a little more respect," Van Dam said. "I wouldn't mind if RVD was missed so much that they wanted to spend a little time actually showcasing me. Not that they're going to know how to do it correctly, but if they give me a little room, I know how to do it myself."

Until then, he's happy to be involved in tomorrow's pay-per-view, celebrating the ECW brand which first put him on the map.

"One Night Stand is going to be a pivotal night in the history of the industry," he said. "I would miss Wrestlemania and a whole year of wrestling just to be there."

Despite his injury, Van Dam says he may be fit enough to do more than just talk, if push comes to shove.

"I'm doing some amazing stuff in therapy," he laughed. "And I know I feel good enough to kick somebody in the face."
