It's glaze reminds me of a warm safe place where as a child I'd hide...

And pray for the salad and grapes to quietly pass me by...

So glad people don't take very many pictures of me.

The reason it worked is because no one was pretending that it was anything that it wasn't.

I actually reckon that 'GNR' will have had a hard time following 'em....
The Gary Moore DVD is also great he did with all the Lizzy guys on it. Shit now he's gone.

Police probe theft of $200,000 worth of necklaces from Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose

Associated Press By Jamey Keaten, The Associated Press | Associated Press – 4 hrs ago

PARIS - Police say Guns N' Roses front man Axl Rose was robbed of three gold-and-diamond necklaces worth some $200,000 after the hard rock band's concert in Paris.

A Paris police spokesman said Wednesday that the lead singer of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band was fuming after the theft during a private gathering after the band's show at Bercy stadium the previous night.

Judicial police have opened an investigation but the spokesman said it didn't appear Rose was wearing the necklaces at the time. The spokesman spoke on condition of anonymity because of office policy.

The group's website says they are scheduled to play in Moenchengladbach, Germany, on Friday before returning to France as part of a tour of Europe and Israel that runs through July 22.

And to Sadist....That story had me on the verge of tears too damn sad that he was taken from us so early.... I think its high time that GnR calls it quits. People say that Dave sucks because "he can't sing like he used to" At least Diamond David Lee Roth can still get out there and preform his ass off! And Axl's about 49 or 50...Dave is fifty-SIX and still goes out of his way to get out there and work that audience like a REAL frontman should.

Wow, that was fucking BRUTAL. I have come to the conclusion that if you want to GnR songs done RIGHT go see Slash and Miles Kennedy. I did. It was a lot cheaper, it kicked ass and I didn't have to give any money to Axl. Win, win, win.

I have seen Dave a ton beginning with Eat Em And Smile, to the Del Mar Fair, to his Las Vegas Stint, and glorious return to Van Halen. Dave knows the fans are #1 and always delivers. Shows up on time and gives it his all for the paying customer. Now, we can argue if Daves 'all' is singing, dancing, joke telling, being silly, being drunk, hitting on women, jumping around.....but whatever it is he is out there delivering your dollars worth.

Axl......ugh. No respect at all for the people who pay his bills. ZILCH! Just sad. When you finally see your hero you want at least a little acknowledgement. Not this. Not what Axl provides.

If he pulled his schtick a couple times throughout his career it would be considered rockstar stuff. Legendary stuff. the type of stuff of "Dude, I was at that show when Axl.....". But he does it every God dammed time. And sadly the ones who love his music the most keep falling for it and hoping the show they go to is finally the one where he lets you kick the football.

Just like those package tours that make the state fair circuits in the states every summer now, when you have "Styx", "Foreigner", "Journey", etc. all touring together, without enough actual band members between the combined acts to make even one band. Maybe someone should just have a huge festival with all these fake bands invited and call it "ScabStock" or something cheesy (but honest) like that.
