Man, I realise that times change and people evolve one way or another to a certain extent, yet this is beyond fucked up. 25-30 years ago, I couldn't wait for the time to pass each month in order to get the latest copy of Hustler or Penthouse. Today, I'm addicted to food porn (a tip of the hat to Anthony Bourdain, who created the phrase).

Yep, and it's a cryin' shame. The guy has a natural knack for travel writing, as well as being a general wiseass. Now that is a guy I wanna knock back several pitchers and bottles with over several hours or days with, exchanging stories while nibbling on Christ knows what.

I ate some apples and drank lemonade for lunch yesterday. I was vomiting the WHOLE night tonight. No one loves you when you're sick. Especially when you have stomach-flu, really, NOBODY loves you :-/

Christ, you must be kidding me. In the 1970's, me and my nutso friends used to drive up there in order to hit the swells caused by incoming hurricanes...on fucking boogie-boards!

I'll be sure to check out the inlet next time. My parents have a winter place up there so I'll be visiting often over the next 6 months. I bet some of the bars like Earl's were around back in the day.. There's a beer drinkin' white trash element to that town that's second to none.
