I knew, after a few months, that it was going to be IMPOSSIBLE to avoid the spoilers coming out right before Ep 3 hit the theater (and, to be honest, I've seen most of the movie already anyway), but I wanted to avoid the book so as to pick up the finer elements of the theater experience WHILE I'm in the theater, not know all the shifts and turns before they hit...

After I've seen it, I'll probably pick it up at Goodwill or something and read it, but I've held off on both the comic and book novelizations up til now.

lmao...it didnt take me as much as I though it would, I've just kept my ass out of book stores and away from the comic book rack at the grocery store, and the rest came easy...

I want to experience the movie for the first time and NOT necessarily have all the dialog memorized before it's uttered on screen!

I agree, but a movie and a book are VERY different experiences. Just look at Stephen King's shit..........Yes, I know whats gonna happen, but it'll look different on the screen than in my head.........plus it's really the actors and the pacing that bring it to life.

Stephen King books vs. movies...my God, I could go on that topic forever...I just sure as shit hope they never try to take on the Dark Tower series in a movie format, I swear I'll blow the damn studio up before it gets filmed...ug...
