Man, what a long, strange trip it's been...

So here we are, 10,000+ posts later, and I look around and realize that the biggest loss for me is that I wasn't here sooner. Having joined on with my fine bunch of compadres here October 11th of 2004 (or so I believe), I find myself wishing I would have been around since the conception of the Sheep Pen.

As it stands, I feel that the work I've done in the time since that fateful evening when I was hired on has more or less spoken for itself. In that time, sheep have been sheared...beers have been drank...parties thrown...asses kicked...and girls licked.

I don't really know where I'm currently at in the pecking order, but I do believe that Matt White came on shortly after I did, placing only Bill and Rikk themselves above me on the chain of command around here; of course, I think Matt joined on a week or two after I did...but what an outstanding choice! Matt coming to the Sheep Pen as an administrator was just bound to happen, I feel, as his work has been outstanding.

Also well worth the mentioning are our other Pen brothers...the aforementioned Rikk, Matt White, and Bill Lumbergh, DLR7884, Academic Punk (WHERE ARE YOU???), Vanzilla (our newest recruit), Nickdfresh, and even the outstanding Poop Boy (who posts as tjvhou812) - he's our biggest success story. From Sheep of the Week to a Sheep Pen Administrator - now THAT'S moving up in the world!

How can you say we're a worthless bunch? How could anyone insinuate that we're not converting the masses? 10,000 posts? Conversion of Ched-Heads into Rothtards? We have been a raging success, and it's all due to not only OUR dedication, but our FANS dedication to seeing us become a success - for that, I would like to extend on not only my behalf but the behalf of my fellow Admins our BIGGEST THANKS TO YOU FOR GETTING US HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Had this thread died off from lack of interest, we wouldn't be making speeches for shit here.

It's YOU that kept this thread alive, not really us - when we sluffed off, your constant support and suggestions for Sheep of the Week have kept us here, motivated (mostly) and ass-kicking since DAY ONE.

We also need to give a personal shout out to two of our former Admins, the incomperable Guwapo Rocker and the incomperable Max, without whom...etc etc.

Oh, rest assured, your Sheep Pen staff WILL continue to bring you the finest entertainment to be found in the Roth Army Forums, both in this thread and in any others we deign to post in! Changes may be made in the staff in the coming days - we're not dropping any names, but there may be one or two of you getting invites very shortly.

Finally, let's give a big round of applause to the Death Squad (Merle, Ed, Carl, Wilford, Dr. Satan and the Dog); for without them, there'd be little adventure in photo shopping, would there? Perhaps even the Death Squad may grow in the coming weeks...for the Doc himself has informed me that a very particular, very specific party may be more interested in coming out of the shadows and taking a more "Hands On" approach to sheep shearing...

In conclusion, I have to say that my very proudest moment as a Sheep Pen Administrator came just a few days back, when the power of Alan the Panther and his glorious gifts of Larg enabled me to defeat the vile, scheming, evil, wicked, and hideously ugly bitch known as WetterPussyflaps when she tried to steal the 10,000th post from those of us who run this thread.

Such injustices will not prevail!
