I got an old Peavy classic100watt amp. Beat to shit but I payed $50 for it in 1987!!! LOL
AND...My old sears 10watt practice amp!!! The Mosquito!!!!!

I also write songs. I'm a vocalist. Also play keys and drums (but not violin, not that I wouldn't mind!).

What kind of material do you write?

I write a lot of funky stuff, plus anthemic songs, pop tunes, blues...lots of Beatles-ish stuff. What kind of stuff do you write?

I love the classic amps. I love the original pickups on strats too. they're noisy but with a noise gate you get the vintage sound.

My charvel has an active pickup that was called a "parametric EQ". Basically it allows yous you to use your pinky (on a volume knob) as a wah.

I just write what appeals to me at any given time. I try to use songs as a vehicle to use new musical ideas.

I've done funk. I've done metal. I've done funk-metal.

I have alot of music and I found that the riffs were..........carrying the songs.

So latelty I've been writing tunes with just a guitar or piano and voice.

The idea was that if they stood good minus production that the songs would be good.

Anyway, if the songs were good minus prodiction, we'd build them at that point,

doesn't make for exciting music. But it's compelling.

Made me have to think about the lyrics alot more.

You would probably not like it.

Chicks seems to dig it.

Uh, no bitch. We're talking music. It's called having a normal conversation for the sake of having a normal conversation. I'm actually interested in what kind of material he does because MAX says he's good and I also write a ton of songs and sing and it's good to talk craft.

Hey Matt, I could give a Rats ass if you like me or not, but I'm not fat at all... In fact the 15/20 lbs that I was over weight I lost this summer, so hate me all you want, just don't call me FAT... :D
