I'm saying that older people are very emotional and, as they age, that emotion clouds their logic. Their daughter died 15 years ago. They need to accept that, I am aware that it must be terribly painful to bury one's child. But since you guys have bought the "Michael Schiavo is the devil" propaganda effort which is based on little more than lies and innuendo, I must point out that her parents are at best, well-meaning but not competent to make the decisions themselves due to their obviously clouded judgement.

Do you understand the difference between "disabled" and 'brain DEAD"??

Steven Hawking isn't going to win the Boston Marathon next year, but he could probably calculate in his head the exact rate of speed which the winner would have to run in order to win in a specific amount of time, and even throw in a 2 minute break to take a piss and drink some gatorade.

Terri Schiavo can't do either one. She can't even swallow a drink of water. That's not "disabled". That's vegetable matter.

Yeah, I guess Michael's judgement isn't clouding, even though he's living with another gal and his two kids. Na, that wouldn't have any effects on his judgement concerning his wife.

When did he remember that she wanted to have the plug pulled? Was it before or after he won that malpractice suit? I can't quite remember.

Look, I have well stated my opinion on this matter. It's best to let Terri go, all factors considered. But not like this. It's a travesty and total miscarriage of justice.

This is more bullshit. 97% of PVS in Terri's condition can swallow and assimulate food with proper therapy. The PVS in my non-immediate family, has been well provided and received therapy, and can now do all this.

These people being brain dead is more media and U.S. doctor bullshit.

The brain doesn't totally control the human body. The body is full of memory cells, that do a large part of the work and PVS like Terri still have them.

In fact early in the PVS initial stage, the number of memory cells increase dramatically to self-run/regulate the human body.

Again, more Michael Schiavo is evil bullshit! He tried for several years to have various theorpies done to Terri, but once your brain atrophies and is replaced by spinal fluid, it's sort of tough to be sentient ever again!
