What kind of statement do we make when we elect these fucking people that WE KNOW have critical flaws...that fair or not...ultimately turn them into fucking laughingstocks.

Unfortunately...everyone's busy looking for a "face," and 9.9 times out of 10...that fucking face is shit for brains...porkin' the sheep...or having a hard time balancing the checkbook...

It would actually be nice to find someone that we could actually fucking admire...and follow...and want to bleed for because you actually think they might have a clue as to what they are doing...and are doing it for the right reasons...

If someone from outside my party...who I didn't vote for...stepped out of an election...and starting doing things that actually helped the country...and more importantly...helped the country for my family...and my kids' future...I'd support him/her in a country second.

I think there were things that Clinton did...that garnered support from both aisles at one point or another...quite frankly...because they were the right ideas...I heard Gingrich say as much a couple of weeks ago that in the height of his hatred for Clinton...there were times when he found himself fighting a plan that he ultimately thought would work...

Bush after 9/11...had the public in much the same way...and really could have exacted some change...but just didn't have the smarts or savvy...IMO...to carry that fantastic handling of the immediacy of 9/11 (now...ultimately...I think the handling morphed into something else...but how could it not).

My point? Our past 2 presidents are supremely flawed for many...many different reasons...

So I ask...how the fuck does the general public keep supporting these fucking flawed fucks?

It's not like we didn't know Clinton was a fucking immoral, lying jackass before 1992...and it's not like we didn't know that Bush was a fucking mindnumbing moron before 2000. But here we are...100 million strong...throwing these two to our fucking top position.

That says more about us as a country...than anything you want.

So when I fucking see these fucking Bush/Clinton battles...I fucking laugh my ass off. Why?

IMO...the Dems need to look to someone who actually has fucking ideas...someone mention the junior senator from Illinois...who actually does have ideas that aren't fucking vapid, but he won't run...but in a perfect world, probably should. I hear Ford's name a lot...and after doing some research...he appears to be the kind of guy that has an actually take that isn't weighed down by 100 pounds of Clinton spooge...

Allen...he does bring to mind the political system of the 80's a bit...but would be a stark contrast (not necesarily stark...but certainly smarter...and with a REAL conservatism)...and not the vapid blank slate that W brings to the table.
