Every year it feels like more and more small family businesses are killed off by big ones.

It is getting much worse now they can't get credit.

Capitalism is a free market. What's happening is the central banks are loaning to the big banks but the money isn't making it to the average business owner. That's one problem. The second problem here in the states is the government regulatory agencies are being used to do the big corporations dirty work. Also with Obamacare the big rats like McDonald's are getting exemptions but mom and pop pizza won't. So Obamacare is anti small business exactly why I'm opposed to it. People have been snookered. They think the government is on their side. It's not. It's been bought by the big corporations and banks. The politicians serve them not us. This is why I don't understand why people think giving a corrupt bought off government more power is any kind of solution. Yeah, government regulations are supposed to keep the free market free. Sometimes big business needs to be regulated. But we don't have good people in charge and they do the bidding of the corporations. That's not capitalism. That's fascism. Basically everything is ran by a big club and we are not part of it anymore and now that big club is deciding it's just going to take everything. This is the situation and it's very bad. It's not capitalism that is at fault, it's the lack of the government protecting it that is at fault.

No seriously, I just saw it for the first time today. I might have to buy a bottle just for novelty's sake.

This religious 'offence' thing is so deep in the mindset that I've seen posters on here absolutely stunned at me saying something against a book written thousands of years ago. I'm meant to be grateful that because they weren't from the christian spin off muslim cult that at least they didn't then try to have me killed?

I'm personally not anti-religious nor am I necessarily a non-believer, but so much of it is obvious hegemonic bullshit designed to hold power and make money...

That being said, I do believe that (male) Homosexuality leads to horrid Nickleback records..

Yes, Nickleback being god-awful is one thing we all can agree on.

Perhaps I'm just a simpleton, but I really don't get what the big deal is here. If a guy runs a profitable business, then off-handedly says one fine morning "Ya know, I really support traditional families, and by that I mean a mom, a dad, a pet and perhaps 2 and a half kids", then who cares? On the other hand, if this same guy decides to take the profits from his business and use them to suppress the rights of others in this belief, that's OK too. I just don't have to visit his place of business. It isn't a reason for me to picket on his doorstep, question his right to free speech, make a big stink and call attention to myself in the process.

And by the way, I believe folks should eat less franchised fast food and support their local mom and pop pizzerias instead. I wonder how that statement can be twisted into making me sound anti-gay or better yet, hating the troops and therefor UN-American.
