That's simply not true. We had troops in Tripoli, ships in the region and aircraft only 500 miles away. He could have made the call and he didn't.

As if the troops abroad don't have enough to do as it is. They are probably fighting their own battles. It's not a pizza place where they sit on their ass and wait for you to call to give them a new task.

He was at grade schools while the real guy in charge Dick Chenny was at the White House running the show. Honestly. Who really thinks Bush was running anything? Obama is the same deal. It's obvious he's not in charge of his presidency. He has just played golf and campaigned for four years. The US is the world's largest military power and it has no leader for 12 years. Everyone is using our military for their own selfish purposes and the last thing it's serving is national security. It's serving bankers and oil companies.

There was no way Bush knew or anyone for that matter knew when and where exactly the 9-11 attack was gonna happen. By the time, the air controllers lost contact with those jets and the administration sent up our own jets, it was to late. Like i said. If Bush would have known and was looking at these passenger jets still in the air in real time, he would have had to make the most difficult decision that any President would have had to make. Shooting down 3 commercial jet's with passengers on board. That didn't happen though, unlike what happened on this 9-11. This should have been an easy call for Obama to have made. We had the resources in the area and hrs. to make it happen. There should have been no reason to not have made a military quick response team call.

He was sitting in front of children. I don't think him jumping up and making a scene would have been appropriate. He finished what he was doing, cut everything else and headed out.
