There's been no mention at all on the local news of the police conducting drills for the bomb squad/ announcements for this being made through loudspeakers, etc...there's 364 other days of the year they would conduct these drills...that they would do so on the day of the Boston Marathon is highly unlikely...

The Boston PD spokesman said there is no suspect in custody at a hospital as has been widely reported in the press...

I only saw one clip...but I am a bit dismayed to see runners continue to jog past other runners who were hit by shrapnel, all the while onlookers are also running past the fallen runners TOWARDS the blast.
