Quite frankly, they treated their fans with an indifference bordering on contempt. The silence between the end of the Cherone era and the new Van Hagar reunion is inexplicable -- and inexcusable. Their fan base began to dry up -- even the guy who faithfully kept the VHND going for years without any real news to report quit in frustration. I guess they figured the fans would always be there. By and large, they were wrong.

I was lurking at the links and the guy that posted this review is apparently a huge Van Hagar fan. He even stated that he prefers Spam to Dave and cried because of what he witnessed. It's hilarious because all of the pole smokers at the links are ripping this dude for his review. They won't even accept a review from one of their own. Get over it sheep, Van Hagar is dead!

Originally, the Waborita was a drink. It was a modified version of a margarita that Sammy (or whomever) designed as - what else - another way to market his tequila.

They actually serve them at Alice Cooper's place "Cooperstown" in Phoenix. Unlike the latest Van Hagar tunes, the drink's not bad. But I wouldn't give up good old fashioned beer to drink 'em
