Well, admittedly, it can happen. Anything can happen, given enough time and money to make it happen. WB will back it if Roth's involved, so far as my understanding is concerned, they want NOTHING to do with Van Halen featuring Cherone, Hagar or anybody else...but with David, they'll work. That's MY understanding, but of course my info could be wrong on that subject - don't think so, though.

Just depends if they want to play to 30,000+ nightly ever again, or if they're content doing Hagarish turnout shows (and worse, which the next tour will undoubtedly be unless it's Roth at the helm). Everybody should realize this by now, I'd think.

Honestly, I think more of the problem with Dave comes from Alex and not Edward.

CVH is not guaranteed a sell out tour...sorry folks, I just don't see it being that without some CAREFUL planning and promotion. 1996, hell yeah it would have been instant, but almost 10 years later? I'm just not sure anymore.

Maybe he is finally past that. If he is, then I think they can work together.

i kinda disagree bc even though van hagar sucked they still sold a lot of albums.

but anyway.. last night i had a dream that van halen was reuniting and it was weird bc it was a DLR show but people kept walking by me and saying "was that alex vh?" and "was that eddie" and then everything was all dark and i just heard dlr say what he said for an intro to largo that i have on a bootleg of mine "LARGO I GIVE YOU THE MIGHTY VAN HALEN" and then a flash of lights and a screaming guitar

needless to say i woke up excited and sweating and then sad that it was a dream. i have never had a dream as electric as that holy fuck it was good...hopefully deja vu
