If anyone brings up the Hall inducting both Brian Johnson and Bon Scott as an argument for Van Hagar, let me remind you:

AC/DC were inducted in 2005. Brian was technically eligible because it was exactly 25 years since the release of Back in Black.

I don't recall Brian ever dissing on Bon's legacy and what AC/DC accomplished when he was at the helm OR adding the entire back catalog sales to what he had recorded to inflate the numbers!

does the same committee who decides IF the band will be inducted also decide WHO (in the band) will be inducted? Do they take a vote or something? Or is there a clear cut rule regarding exactly who is eligible.

I am thinking that 600 people voted and the majority said that based on their contributions to the band and its success, the original 4 are in, Sam is in, Gary is not.

And, as far as being an active recording artist, Sam's got them all beat. He's more than eligible to get nominated.

It's a done deal and I'm kinda thinking they'll pass on performing just to avoid the trouble. I'd like to think they could put it all aside and play together for the fans even if it's one song each singer, but I have my doubts.
