yeah i agree, most of my friends dig vh but i don't know many hardcore police fans....it's not exactly exciting music

Stewart Copeland behind the drums is the definition of excitement.
I think there's a lot less of the "can they still cut it" factor with the police. You KNOW you'll get your moneys worth out of them. Van Halen could be great or it could just be a sad echo of what we all remember.

So What...
I heard you bought a 12 inch Maxi Pad!!
I would go see DLR-VH anyday over The Police, but VH has really damaged their rep over the past 20 years and it looks like they are heading out on the road at half speed with a kiddie bass player. The Police will have the original line up and this gives them a huge edge. I really find it hard to believe that DLR is going to agree to tour with this line up. Leave it to the VH sisters to screw things up. 22 years and they still can't get it right.
The Police is top of the top shit for me... as long as CVH isn't concerned. Nuff said.

Originally posted by Nitro Express The Police? Ha! Ha! A good band for it's time but do we really want to see a balding British snob yelling;"Daaaaoooooo! Daaaaaaoooooo!" again?.
It was Stewart Copelands drumming that made that band exciting not the squaking egomaniac with the bass.
yeah i agree with both of those things...and it the band are few and far between in the states that you'll find doing stadium tours which sucks
