Alright, I've read the MTV news bit and melodicrock's write-up and this is what I think:
This is a temporary postponement and it has nothing to do with contracts NOT being signed between Dave and the Van Halens.
I also doubt it has anything to do with relations between Dave and Ed and Al (after all the nice stuff that both have said in the past month).
Both reports state that the band is still rehearsing despite the 'postponement', meaning that for some reason, they were not ready to have tickets go on sale (which would've been this weekend).
What the whole hold-up is we don't know.
It may have something to do with the Hall ceremonies and Mike's involvement.
Or maybe its Wolfie?? Perhaps the kid just aint ready as they thought he was.
Maybe Val didn't want him there.
Despite all that, I believe that Dave is still playing with Ed and Al...and maybe Wolfie.=V V=
