Dave is worth WAY MORE than 20 million. Doe th math. Despite all the BS about his "lousy" solo career, he has sold 10 million or so albums solo in the USA ALONE. Add to that VH sales, residuals, 10 or morer World tours, summer tours, merchandising, books, investments NONE of us know about, and simple interest from the bank and Dave has more money than he can ever spend.

I'd be willing to bet he has WAY MORE money than Ed, Alex, and MA combined.

That is correct. Dave had a guaranteed 8 million dollar contract with CBS radio. So, even though, his show was cancelled, Dave still got paid.

In several interviews, since his departure from the airwaves, Dave indicated that he suspected his show was going to get the axe early on. Thus, he complied with every request from CBS management so they couldn't levy a breach of contract suit against him and get out of paying him his 8 mil.

Dave's radio show may have tanked but he played it very smart and got paid 8 million bucks for a few months work.
