Oh yeah - It was a major factor in steering me towards going to see this: opening night an hour away from my driveway. I can't miss that. In fact, I am even closer to Greensboro, the second night and if all goes off without a hitch, I'll catch that one as well. You can still make it - tickets are floating around by Personal Message. You just have to get in yo' car and drive!

Dude, I really appreciate the invite, seriously but that's a three thousand mile "get in yo' car and drive" trip. lol

As much as I'd lub to hit the show with the lot of you yayhoos, I have a very special show in Boston that's all set, we have our tix and nothing's keeping me from that one!!!

Also, I'm in the midst of plotting a west coast gig. There are tons who don't wanna mis a chance to see Diamond Dave (especially after how I've hyped him for almost three decades) again, since they haven't seen him since either EEAS or SKYSCRAPER. I'm one of the only folks within my crew who's ever seen VH Live!!! Again and after how I've hyped it for over 20 plus years, EVERYONE wants to see it for themselves!!!

On another note, not ONE person's asked who will be playing bass. :p

Someone from or more familiar with the City please just chime in with a place or else we can meet at the hotel bar at the 5 star nearest to Bobcat arena???

There is no exclusive parking for the Bobcats Arena, just scattered pay lots on various blocks around the city. As far as bars and clubs, there is the Breakfast Club (80s theme) across from the site on Brevard st. One block up is College St, and this is where most of the restaurants and bars are located. Coyote Ugly, Bar Charlotte etc...

If you are driving, and want to park close to the arena you better get there early. If not, be prepared to do a little hiking.
