How come it is that during the past, oh say dozen or so years, this act still plays out in such a predictable fashion? First, a user joins the site, claiming to have all sorts of wonderful new information. Expecting to be treated just a little bit better than everyone else at the joint, he starts to PM the mods with regard to his "credibility". Next, a series of self-serving denials are issued from the new guy, which culminate in some weirdly wounded statements of how the poster only wanted to share his good news with the membership of such a devoted website. Oh, and at the end of the day, you never even hear what this supposed inside info consists of anyway, because instead of posting it, the newb resorts to insulting that same devoted board membership for doubting him in the first place.

Any takers on how this most recent episode might play out?
