I think we know enough about Dave that we know this isn't an Eddie solo project. It was probably Dave that wanted the band to dust off a few old tracks.

People need to fucking chill. It reminds me of 8pm last night when some noobs here were shit-talking the band because the live web stream wasn't up.

I know that after all we've been through since 1984 and again in 1996 it can be easy to shoot first and ask questions later when talking about VH.

But some folks need to step back and get some perspective. We're getting a media blitz, club performances, tour dates, new record, new music...and a re-energized Classic Van Halen.

This is all GOOD FUCKING STUFF!!!!!!!

Ok, cool - so then we're in the same boat, man. I've been waiting for a new DLR/VH album since I bought 1984 as a 15 year old back in January 1984.

If you've been waiting half your life, at least have an open mind and wait until you hear the whole song before rushing to judgement - you may find yourself pleasantly surprised.
