I saw something on the news last night I think it was. Said that they are going to start counting streamed sales as part of the total sale. I didn't catch all of it. It's a good idea IMO.

Agree - gold records would have been handed out for the occasion. I doubt =VH= would even announce the fact - they're too big to simply point out gold status (unlike Chickenshit, who announced the gold on their first record like they landed a man on the fucking moon).

This is the count according to Metal By Numbers based on the weekly reported Billboard Sales. These are U.S. sales and i don't know if this is just cd's or if the downloads would be included or not. These are the sales figures that Billboard bases their top 200 album chart on.

week ending 2/15: 187,500
week ending 2/22: 57,880
week ending 2/29: 28,360
week ending 3/7: 25,240
week ending 3/14: 14,000

Total: 312,980

Surely, outside of the U.S. it has sold at least another 150,000 copies so it should be going Gold from a worldwide sense very soon.

Good question. I read somewhere that the band is not selling copies of ADKOT at the venues. Anyone know if that's true? After hearing TTWN, STW and CT at the shows, I would have thought a lot of people would be lining up to get a copy.
