Check out Mikey from this article...and I am sorry if it has already been posted. Here is his quote regarding why Dave took a couple days to come out with the video:

Anthony also offered a possible explanation for why three days lapsed between the announced schedule changes and Roth’s public statement about them: “Maybe that’s the three days you take to come up with your story?” Really Mikey? what are you, a correspondent for TMZ?

    WHAT THE FUCK DUDE!?

You wanna dredge up shit the bassplayer said 2 days ago? My God! Get over it already. Lots of people were talking shit 2 days ago. Move on already.

      And I repeat....

Michael Anthony can suck a dick

He can suck it in 1986
He can suck it in 1996
He can suck it in 2000
He can suck it in 2004
He can suck it in 2007
He can suck it 2 days ago

At least we all know whos dick he'll be sucking.

He really needs to get over that he's not in the band anymore. Unlike Roth, it's not like he was any meaningful part of the creativity process. He was on the border of being fired over 30 years ago. I wasn't annoyed by his comments earlier this month but now he's getting on my nerves.

And anyways, according to this site MA has a net worth of $60 million to David Lee Roths paltry $40 million. I guess you guys were right. he really did contribute more to the band than Dave. It ain't VH without Michael Anthony & such.........

          Eddie is worth $85 million.

Oddly, Hagar is worth the total sum of Dave & EVH together. Guess MA hooked his wagon to the right mule.

No matter what the media or previous bandmates say, I would bet my life that the postponement is NOT due to infighting.

I've seen every single video and how these guys are when together on stage. I compare that to what I witnessed in 2004. In 2004 they told everyone it was all good but when you saw them on stage you knew it was bad. No fucking way any infighting is anywhere even close to the same universe as that tour.

Is it simply a break? That I kinda doubt. My gut tells me someone needs some medical attention. So in honesty, yeah....they need a break. Dave didn't lie....he just didn't tell us everything. Fine. I'm okay with it. They are finishing out another dozen or so shows and simply "postponed" future dates. Don't worry about infighting...worry about health. When EVH states he had 2 recent cancer removals that makes a shitload more sense than anything else I've read or heard.

They've already proved they could complete 1 full tour together. And by Eddies and Daves own words they are getting along even better this time around. new interview videos, full length album, press releases, free invite only shows to media AND FAN SITES, open camera policy, and 2 brand new music videos reinforce the getting along notion.

Just because Sammy & Mike HOPE that the brothers are fighting with Dave (so they can have yet another whack at it) does not make it so. Those fags can hope all they want & in the meantime keep disappointing tens of fans every night.

I got no beef with MA. The guy was steadfast through the entire debacle of Hagar/Cherone/Roth/Hagar/Roth mess. The fact that the brothers had him as a "contract player" back during the Hagar reunion tour in 04...and not an "official member" of the band? WTF is that? Who does that crap to people? I for one can't wait to read the Michael Anthony book one day. Screw everybody else's book. Anthony saw it all.

A Michael Anthony book would be interesting if it was written in a fair unbiased way.As you say the guy saw it all and must have some great stories. But you know for a fact if one were to be released it would be extremely pro Hagar anti Dave,If nothing else than he is still working with Hagar and that clown thinks Van Halen and Chickenfoot are slugging it out head to head
I really love you baby, I love what you've got

I'd much rather see Chickenface open for Van Halen than unKool and the gang or Julian Marley...

I haven't tried it yet but will look out for it.

It loses points for me though for being in a small bottle which is a bit of a hassle.

This from one of the most UN-Kool people on the board. I would give my right arm to be able to see the two together. I think Kool is the perfect opener, always have.

                        Yeah...

I'll bet you even had the idea before Dave did...

You probably go to all the casinos looking for unKool and the unoriginal Gang gigs...

Much to my surprise, the combination definitely worked. I can vouch for that.

Of this whole sorted mess that is the "Michael Anthony Situation", there are many ways to peel the onion. Ultimately, everyone in here has taken a turn at being right! He was ousted. He did say shitty things about Dave, he was a loyal member of VH (a title one earns while twiddling ones thumbs and waits for the genious to get his shit together in some way or another),he wouldn't bring to the table what Wolf currently brings, he can't let go of the past any more than most of us and so on and so on.

Michael Anthony is... the most enigmatic bass player in the world.

                            Stay shlumpy my friends.
