I didn't really get any good shots of Mike playing the JD bass. You can tell he's playing it in this pic from June 17, 1984.

Neither.

That pic was taken from the same spot the one of Dave with the sword was taken from. I was using a Kodak pocket camera. No adjustments at all on it. It was all you could get into the shows back then. In fact, that dickhead security fuck that is in the pic of Dave with the sword, threatened to take my film. I told him to fuck off. I'm surprised he didn't squash me.

I never liked the JD bass - Mike had an old Yahama or something, though, that looked cool. Looked like it had chisel marks on it - a bit like the desk on the cover of Alice Cooper's School's Out, actually !!!

Since I am skiving, I just popped the two of 'em together, and shit - I was right ...
