Hagar is actually of Lebanese descent. Too bad he didn't move to Beirut in the 80s.
Why the hell are Dave and the boys getting so much hate this time around?

The best security is not to post too much about yourself on the internet and never use your real name. They have to find you to do anything to you. Kind of hard to do if they don't have enough information. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

I had an uncle who was a pastry chef on a cruise line and he said Beirut was in his opinion one of the most beautiful coastal cities. I guess in the day the place was fabulous. I guess they rebuilt it and then the Israelis came in and bombed it again. Anthony Bourdain was filming there when that happened. I wanted to go up and check it out when I was living in Israel but it was not the right time to do so. The only neighboring countries that were easy to get in were Jordan and Egypt. There are some fabulous beaches along the Med from Egypt all the way through Turkey. Sadly the political BS gets in the way of enjoying it.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

I think Sammy reflects the jewish stereotype more than Dave. Sammy is the one peddling and selling. I've never seen Dave doing ads for kosher hotdogs, or selling financial services. He does refer to diamonds in his show name Diamond Dave but he isn't saying go down to my uncle Marvin Weiss in the district, he will give you a good deal.
If Swedish people make stereotypes then it's about muslims from middle east, even Turks. Because there are many of them here.
I don't know what jewish stereotype is :-/ I know muslim stereotype though. The heart is on the left. The blood is red.Comment

The jewish stereotype... If I'm gonna be 100 percent honest with you, we don't have that in Sweden. Since there aren't many jewish people living here, there is no focus on them at all. I have NEVER heard anybody in Sweden saying something bad about jewish. Even mentioning them.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan

Yeah, it does.
There are small groups of people everywhere like Sonja. But it says nothing about the general climate. I have NEVER heard anything about jews among people I socialise with. But then again, I don't hang out with nazis.
I have actually read that there are some problems with antisemitism in Malmö, BUT Malmö consists of like 90% new immigrants, arabs, muslims. They brought their middle-east problems to Malmö.The heart is on the left. The blood is red.Comment

I grew up in a resort town in Idaho. Not too many jews in Idaho but it so happened to be that both our neighbors were Jewish. Not hard core orthodox jews but they were active in their faith. The mom in one family was a holocaust survivor. She told us kids how quickly things can change for the worst. She grew up in a wealthy family in Germany and she went from being a well liked kid into being hunted down. All the politicians have to do is use economic conditions to scape goat you and use the media and educational system against you. It's quite effective.
What I learned about jews was they never took the good times from granted. Why they encourage their kids to go into professions that society deems important is so that they can be employable wherever they go in case what happened in Germany happens again. Now we are in bad economic times again and the same old divide and conquer schemes are brewing again. Race against race. Class against class. Religion and minority groups like gays will be useful fodder as well. Who will fan this is the people who own the politicians. The bankers.
Antisemitism has never gone away and many Jews realize the next holocaust can be then next economic depression away. When I see a dependent society so easily bought off with bread and circuses I don't doubt it can happen again. The thing is, the lazy fat asses couldn't cut it as SS stormtroopers. When your belly is full of junk food bought on food stamps and you are 130 pounds overweight, you aren't so scary.
Anyways, all the things that led up to World War II are here again. The bankers need war as a distraction from their crimes. What's interesting is I just got back from Shanghai. I really had a good time. Everyone was driving new cars. The city was clean. No beggars in the streets. The service everywhere was top notch. None of the bullshit plaguing the west was there. No racist or politically correct bullshit. Europe and North America seem to be where the problem is and it's the same old banking crowd stirring the trouble. They point to the muslims but I've been hurt more by bankers and politicians than any muslim so I'm not buying it and neither should anyone else. And no the jews didn't cause all the problems either.Last edited by Nitro Express; 07-12-2012, 03:47 PM.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

There might be some truth to it because I hung around the neighbor kids and we wanted to make money. The jewish dad bought a bunch of redwood to make some patio furniture out of and he gave us the scrap wood. We made up some address numbers out of it and went around town taking orders and cut the numbers out and sold them for $2 each. We always had a money making scheme going. When I go back to the old neighborhood and visit a lot of those address numbers are still up on the houses. It was pure profit since we used the dad's tool and didn't have to pay for the wood or paint. Next to sex making your own money is a rush. Maybe they are motivated that way because when you have your own money you aren't dependent on handouts. I think they like the security of it.Last edited by Nitro Express; 07-12-2012, 03:59 PM.No! Like I said half the worlds jews live in the US and many live in New York City and work in the financial industry. The stereotype comes from the jewish quest for money. Picture a city full of a lot of Gene Simmons types and you get where it comes from.

It's not just people with money that have this need to decorate themselves to show off. It all depends on the individual.
About having your own money and not being dependent on handouts, I'd also like that :DLast edited by envy_me; 07-12-2012, 04:26 PM.The heart is on the left. The blood is red.Comment
