they'll have things worked out soon enough...short tour of Japan, a show in Wisconsin....hopefully back in the studio

next US tour should be different...if not...he'll bitch some more :D

They're playing a FESTIVAL, not their own tour. When you play a festival, you play the hits, because not everyone in the crowd is your crowd.

Agree that the performance is iffy, but get a reality check dude....

In this case, they're playing to a crowd which has never seen these songs performed properly before (though they got half assed versions with Cherone in 1998) so it's completely understandable that Aussie fans might well want to see these songs performed.

This might also be true, if the band played European festivals, where they also haven't played in decades. However, if they played a festival in the US, they might want to use the shorter set time to their advantage and lose the over-played songs in favor of some others.

Me, I just wish they would leave the keyboards at home, period. And I could live without Panama, just because of the joke Hagar turned it into, with his extended blabbering about "last night I was thinking about tonight when I should have been thinking about last night and fuck tomorrow because all we have is right now".

Not that I want to agree with Elvis, because he IS douching up the thread. I'm just tired of the songs myself.
