Thing with Mike is that he seems to hate Dave more than Ed or Al ever did.

Which is strange. I mean, what, did Dave shit in his cereal every morning?? Why does Mike seem so bitter towards Dave??

I suspect Spammy's brainwashing is partly the cause. Whereas Anthony should be greatful of Dave. After all it was D-Ro who came up with the concept around his bass solo.

Sorry fella's I can't see van halen kicking it up a notch if mike was in .
For me ed is doing this because his son kicked him up the arse .
This is all about wolf for him , any future that van halen have new music or tours revolve around ed being happy playing band with the kid.
Ed is a notorious lazy destructive person , without wolf being there he would be sitting in howdy dowdy noodling away until what talent he had he had flushed away .

If wolf decided he wanted to fly the nest maybe that's a different proposition but in some ways why would he do that he can do both he proved it with the tremonti stuff.

Not sure I would even want to see a van halen with mike reunion if it went down like 2004.

I'd certainly agree that Wolfgang was the motivating force that got Ed off his meth-addled, Smoking Loon binge, got [Ed] cleaned up and ready to reconcile with Roth.

I look at Wolfgang's involvement with Van Halen as a positive thing.

And perhaps the state of the band today IS the best fans could hope for it to be, and to ask for more is to ask for too much.

However, I still think the last bit of business is getting Anthony back into the fold, getting those 4 guys onstage and letting it rip one last time. Then, put the whole shebang to rest with their heads held high and the fans satisfied.
