The hanging off was an exageration, but 14 stitches is 14 stitches.

He's capable of better, but I was prepared for worse, actually. No one magically bounces back to the way they sounded 8 years ago when it's been 3 years since his questionable performances. Taking in cuntsideration he may have been sick then, mind you.

Same here. Everybody I've talked to has said they planned on going to the show, but after seeing them on Kimmel, they've decided not to go. I have read hundreds of posts online stating the same thing.

His nose wasn't hanging off, he got a scratch...

And his vocals were about the same before and after, and he didn't sound terrible on Panama and the screams were nice...

I think he was loaded and his voice is still way tired...

We all had high hopes, but he didn't deliver..again...

Yeah, they look like they'd rather be somewhere else, as Wolfie should be with Delmonte before he loses that gig...

I know he's been a punching bag in the vocal choice department, but you are aware he had half of his nose hanging off, right? That no doubt threw him off a bit and he still belted it out with some screams. A lesser man would have pulled the plug and you know it.

Fantastic that he looked healthy, but acted "normally"? He was kinda wooden and boring. I've seen him play phenomenally and put a little wiggle in it. I think the visual show should be provided by the three guys out in front. You know damn well Dave had a well choreographed live show with Mike and Ed on up through 1984. Ed and Wolf are statues. They need to look more lively in my opinion.

This is the only clip they should have aired live if they really want to sell that Tokyo crap...

That's pretty much exactly the buzz I'm hearing from people in the real world. I would hate to see this apparent house of cards come crashing down.

I thought he looked dumb, out of touch and crackhead thin...

Ed looked healthy and acted normally...

Here's a text I got today from a bass player friend of mine that I told Van Halen was airing last night:

"Eddie sounds great but dlr has lost it"

I think it's safe to say that's the gist of what most casual fans think when they see a "performance" like that...

Elvis...you have to admit Dave had some pretty slick Stage moves and poses/gyrations (lol) versus the last tour....give him that much
